Let's start out with THIS IS ACTUALLY A PAID GAME.
Which in itself doesn't bother me. But your not going to see that on the page, and I know some people would like to avoid data charges for something they won't buy. Its got a "demo" so you can play like the first 10 minutes of the game. Which i rather enjoyed. But thats all you get unless you buy the full game, $9.99 where i am. Will probably buy the full game eventually after I've played through some other stuff.
Seems like a fast paced side scroller hack and slash, making it a bit reminiscent of the original PC game. Didn't see any traps, or puzzle though. Your can run slide wall jump. Combats super easy, but it was just the tutorial, so 🤷. After the first little stage, you get a popup to rate the game, then some dialog where you can talk to npcs and cutscene stuff, and then just a few more enemies to fight. Looks like there's more skills to learn, but that was not included in the "demo" bit. It does have controller , though I didn't try it.
So while it seemed like it maybe could be fun, 3 stars because the demo doesn't leave me "wanting more", it just leaves me wondering things like "do npc interactions actually matter", "will there be gear I can switch out", "will there be puzzles", etc.
